N2N Canada is on a mission to connect, inspire & support Canadian maker identity in the hand made industry. Are you ready to share your story? Your start up struggle, your break through successes, best practices, what not to do & what it takes to live your craft every single day as a Canadian hand-made business? Share your ideas and experiences and – in return - learn from other makers and creative independents. All makers have the opportunity to submit their story and be featured on the N2N website!
All makers are welcome to book BACKROOM STUDIO to host workshops, events, product launches or whatever is needed to bring your business to the next level!
NOOKSTART is a 10 week online business competition open to all nookies and outside creatives. Participants are given weekly homework challenges that test and advance their business knowledge. The top 15 with the highest score move on to the live pitch where they present their business to a panel of retail industry experts in hopes to win 1 free nook for 1 full year!
We offer selling opportunities at all Nook sponsored events, including partnered community events, holiday markets, summer makers’ markets, and our very own NookFEST Arts + Music Festival.
GIFT GUIDE GIVEAWAY
We curate a monthly themed gift guide to thank our customers for shopping local. The gift guide is made up of donated products from our makers and launched through social media. The winner picks up the gifted products in store.
We offer rewards to our customers for shopping local. Customers can earn stamps for every purchase they make at a retail nook location. Once their card is full they may redeem a hand-made gift from a participating maker.
The Nooks Makers’ Hub is a private Facebook page where all creatives can share ideas, feedback, and offer peer-to-peer support. The Makers’ Hub is also our platform where we communicate nook related information surrounding sale reports, trending products, and announcements.
The Nooks Maker committee’s purpose is to strengthen the 3 key elements of The Nooks business: Our customers shopping experience, community connections and maker relations. The committee meets once a month in a 4 month commitment. All nookies can apply to be a part of this program!
The Nooks host monthly maker meet ups for nookies + external makers to network together, learn from a guest expert and to share their maker successes, failures and expertise!
